Learning is moving fast these days. It is very important to understand things in a way that makes sense. What works for one person may not work for another.. Some ways of teaching seem to really help people learn faster. Teaching methods can make a difference in how well people understand new concepts like learning new things in school or something. The thing is, learning things is all about understanding concepts quickly and effectively so we need to find the best way to do that.
One good way i teach myself is to start with the concept. Where I do not jump into the steps. Try to memorize things right away. The concept teaching method begins with the reason, behind the topic. So when I learn the reason and get the picture it is easier for me to understand and remember new things. I always believe, When you connect ideas to things you already know it helps you understand the concept better and you remember it for a long time. Concept-first teaching is a method because it helps people understand the concept and that is what matters.
Another teaching I came across during my work internship is that, the use of worked examples is just as powerful. When we watch a problem being solved one step at a time and we hear the reasoning behind each step it really helps us see patterns. Come up with our own ways to solve problems. Worked examples are especially helpful when they are followed by practice that is guided and then used on our own. This way worked examples can really helps the learners.
