The Art of Addressing

We have all faced a good dose of fear, stress, humiliation, insults or anxiety through our journey as a student.
Most often it is a joke, on the other times it is a very well intended angry remark.

While we are growing through our phases of student life, internship life etc… you feel a dip in the attention you receive from a professor/tutor towards your academic growth.
The criticism usually stays in and around the aspects of behavior/dressing/discipline or lack thereof, but never academic strengthening.

What is the right way to tell a senior/teacher/professor ‘Sir/ma’am, I would appreciate you focusing on my academic weaknesses than that of my personality..’??

Rightly said. I think, this can be only solve by the efforts of students. Most of the times, we choose to be quite where we have doubts too. Your efforts will be then appreciated by the mentors.

Sometimes, yes it may not work but most of the time it is.
