Some Conversations End in Real Life — But Continue in the Mind

Some conversations should end when you close the conversation.

But what if it doesn’t happen?

You continuously repeat conversations in your mind for hours—sometimes events days—without completely understanding reasons.

Many of us have faced this situation at some time or other.

  • Did I say anything wrong?

  • Should I say more or less?

  • What have they interpreted?

  • What if they don’t like my perspective?

But we have to know why this happens. There are many reasons for such behavior.

Why it occurs:

  • Fear of rejection or embarrassment

  • Sense of taking responsibility for others’ feelings

  • Protection towards your relationship

  • Difficulty trusting your opinions

  • Not giving importance to your feelings and emotions

And this process can be exhausting if repeated again and again.

How to protect yourself from this—

  • Make yourself a priority

  • Take a stand for your opinions.

  • Don’t depend on others’ validation.

  • It’s not your responsibility to take care of others’ feelings.

Conservation should never be emotionally exhausting for a person.

Sometimes, healing begins when we stop revisiting what no longer needs to be relived.

Protect your peace of mind .
