Before the entry of social media, life was simple. Nothing complicated. Everything was not shared, announced, or uploaded on social media. But with the advent of Facebook, Instagram, and many other social media platforms, life has become an open book. Nothing against the people who share their life events on social media.
My thoughts were kindled by an article I had read today. When Facebook was new, we all had uploaded pictures regularly, waited for comments and likes. It kind of stimulated the mind, craving for recognition. But as life moves on, we all realise that we don’t have to share everything on social media with everyone. We become content with our happiness and we move on with the problems and worries. So it is okay to not share our feelings with the world through social media.
As this article suggests, we don’t need anyone to validate our feelings.
Are you the one who thinks others’ validation of our feelings is important? Share your thoughts.
Everyone feels that posting on social media gives a sense of achievement. However, it’s okay to not post everything on social media. Instead of chasing likes and comments, it’s better to cherish moments privately and truly enjoy them in real-life.
True posting everything on social media is not that important sometimes leaving in the moment and enjoying it rather than posting will give enough peace.
Not everything needs to be shared, but at the same time, only showing the good moments can create a filtered bubble. A balanced space, where both achievements and challenges are acknowledged, often feels more real and relatable.
It is true that we tend to be happier when we do not let other’s opinions dictate our lives and it is much healthier to keep our personal life to ourselves because at the end it is our choice and we must practice being content with our life.
Right our life is ours we don’t need anyone to validate our life as they didn’t saw what we go through or going through as there 2min validation can’t decide my future
Right , posting everything on social media has became a trend but it’s not right at all it is invading our privacy and we should stop posting everything to protect our real life from becoming a content.
We don’t have to post everything in social media and seek attention from people. We just have to be happy within ourself 1st, then family & then with people who are close to us.Social media in earlier it’s been used to connect with our friends & family.
It’s better to have privacy than posting everything.
Honestly, earlier I did care about validation. Posting something and waiting for likes or comments felt nice, like people noticed you. But with time, it just started feeling unnecessary. Not everything needs to be put out there for others to approve or react to.
Now I feel some things are better kept personal. The happiness feels more real when it’s just yours, not something you’re measuring through reactions. Validation from others is good for a moment, but it doesn’t really stay. Being at peace with your own feelings matters more.
Living minimalist nowadays is rare to be seen nowadays, It’s all materialistic and everything perfect kind of life that’s shown just to become popular and that feeling of getting seen by people has become so much common worldwide.
Definitely not! Although during some situations, especially delicate time, comments may hurt but we should learn to ignore it and soar through it with a calm mind.
social media is a race of reaching to 100 k and gaining more subscribers .this thirst is endless.one should always be known with its boundary so that an harmony is maintained between social media life and personal life.
