Stable job after MBBS with simultaneous NEET PG preparation or PG preparation with taking gap period is preferable…let’s discuss
In my opinion, if you want to take a gap for pg exam preparations then you should devote all your time to it.
Non-pg jrship in a govt hospital is hectic. You hardly get time to study during your duty hours and you are left too exhausted to study afterwards.
I agree …I went through the same situation which caused me early burn out
When I was preparing for USMLE, I accepted a light job (as an MO at a nearby dispensary with light hours). That gave me ample time to study and at the same time do some clinical work. It worked out perfectly for me.
So it depends upon individual situation, I would say. But yes, doing heavy duty clinical work and preparing For PG may not be the best idea.
After MBBS, deciding between preparing for PG and taking up a stable job isn’t as simple as it sounds. PG offers long-term growth and specialization, but comes with uncertainty and pressure. A job gives you financial stability and experience, but might feel limiting. It really depends on where you are in life and what you value more right now.
Yaah…Job gives financial stability at the cost of lagging behind respect to career progress
simultanoous neet pg is preffered but on the basis of financial condition you can choose JR ship.
If you are dedicated to crack PG and don’t have financial responsibilities, taking a drop year and focusing on studies is better.
But if you are still indecisive of what you wish to pursue working as JR will give you good insights and also give you a break from the never ending exam race.
Some universities have a service bond now in Maharashtra and after completion of the bond only you can apply for state counselling for PG! Worst rule they can make.
Yaa…but thats compulsory 1 yr rural posting, in Assam also we have…But I am talking of voluntarily taken post MBBS jobs for financial stability
