If the aim is to continue clinical path, then it’s a good idea to keep the focus on PG exam (NEET-PG / USMLE/ PLAB).

It’s your personal choice.

There are a lot of other options available to explore.
If you are clear about your goal, go for PG

But if you are exhausted and want to explore other career path, take a break.

Totally according to the preference however, taking a drop will help us understand what we actually want to do and which field we actually want to choose.
Keeping ourselves in a field which might become hectic can be a wrong choice for long term future so taking a drop, exploring and researching may help a lot.

However some people are clear-headed and they know where to go so for them taking the career further without a drop is easy.

Totally a personal preference…
