Perimenopause: What every women above 35 should be aware of!

The phase before menopause is a frequently misunderstood phase in a majority of womens lives. These symptoms are often dismissed as stress/lifestyle or ageing. It frequently starts in the 40s but can also begin earlier.

Its the time before periods where the ovaries start declining in their function and release decreased hormones. Perimenopause typically begins in a women between ages of 40-47. It can start earlier as well and continue for 2-10 years.

The symptoms that accompany perimenopause are mainly due to fluctuating levels of Hormones mainly Estrogen and Progesterone.

Maintaining a stable sleep routine,workingnout daily, eating healthy meals and supplementing with Calcium & Vit D along with K2,Deep Breathing,Yoga and Meditation are all techniques that help deal with the symptoms during this stage.

In severe cases and if the benefits outweigh the risks, Hormone Replacement Therapy is an option worth considering.

Every women should know about different phases of menstrual cycle. Due to hormonal changes, lifestyle, and diet, we faces many changes. So, we should be aware for that.

Each women must know this. It’s sad how our schools and colleges never thought us about it. It’s not even discussed at homes. So when a women starts getting these symptoms they’ll assume that they are ill. awareness regarding these issues are more important than we think.

Not all women and their lifestyle are same every women differ from each other . All should know about hormonal change ,stress and food style than complaining about the early or delayed stage of menopause it is quiet natural thing and need to accept it and handle it.

This is a very informative post. Menstrual problems are mostly overlooked in our society. Even most women are not clearly aware about the hormonal and physiological changes that happens during menstruation.
