'Nature heals but sometimes harms'

Just because something comes from plants doesn’t mean they are harmless. Nature seems silent but holds more secret we need to know .

Nature knows to heal but at the same time it will harm if we didn’t test them correctly before using.

Many herbal and “traditional” remedies contain active chemicals that can alter heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, or liver function.

Aloevera (oral use)may affect Electrolytes levels and affect kidney function.

Natural products can also interact with the prescribed drug and can affect the liver , kidney and may cause many side effects.

Safety doesn’t always comes from nature, it comes from being tested ,researched properly and used wisely .

There are many examples where something from nature we felt would be safe actually turns out to be dangerous! Share your thoughts and examples!!

So true, natural doesn’t automatically mean safe, even plants carry pharmacologically active compounds that need proper testing and respect.

In pharmacy, there is a concept of effective and toxic dose. Ultimately all drugs are toxic- whether they are synthetic Or herbal- it’s just the amount (dose) leading to toxicity differs.
