Most Indians can never miss their daily dose of tea. This small cup of hot beverage is woven into everyday lives, from morning to night. With this much regularity, people have spread out their preferences across three main varieties: black tea, green tea and milk tea.
Milk tea: The most common. Just add tea leaves, milk and sugar and brew the comforting cup of tea. Not harmful unless, someone is allergic to lactose in milk.
Black tea: The taste is very strong due to it being fully oxidized. It has a high amount of antioxidant content. Worth noting is that it interferes with the absorption of nutrients by the body. So, it is recommended to be consumed between meals rather than alongside them.
Green tea: The lightest of the three with the most antioxidants. It is minimally processed with potential health benefits including metabolic support and reduced inflammation. It can be consumed with meals.
Each type of tea has its own place depending on personal preference and health goals. Milk tea is comforting drink, black tea is for the ones seeking something strong and green tea stands out for its antioxidant and health properties.
