Is jt just me or was everyone as delusional as i was, thinking Greys Anatomy is how hospitals work?
Yea.. I am also one of the that delusional people… I learned all my lessons in neurosurgery from Dr. Derek Shepherd. Jokes apart, it is far from reality…
having a dad who is a pharmacist & often being sick as a child meant that I was exposed to hospitals pretty much early in life so I knew it didn’t work like that at least from a patient POV… Still I was fascinated with watching HOUSE MD for some reason
though i was tricked into believing CID & Criminal Minds is how criminal procedurals worked
I got delusional after watching “the good doctor”
The way he handled everything precisely … Just a series is what I always remind myself, but my imaginary brain still made delusions
guilty as charged
Haha, same here, I thought I’d be saving lives with dramatic speeches, not chasing case sheets and waiting for vitals.
Turns out, the only thing Grey’s got right was the exhaustion and caffeine addiction.
Some style and sophistication definitely present in ER, outpatient and indoor as i have seen , but Grey’s Anatomy is far too dramatized.
It’s definitely not just you! Many of us believed Grey’s Anatomy reflected real hospital life—full of drama, instant diagnoses, and romance in on-call rooms. Then MBBS hit us with long rounds, paperwork, and endless ward duties. Turns out, real medicine is less glamour, more grind—but still just as meaningful.
So many medical drama series are their but no can match the depth actually a medical drama wants !
Harsh truth
But asking for any suggestions
Is there any medical which is worth to watch ??
I thought i was the only one but it seems like every one suffers from delulu syndrome
