Though not exactly related, but remember the two together:

Kleine Levin Syndrome (KLS)

KBS: Hyperphagia, hyper sexuality and behavioral changes
KLS: Hypersomnia, Hyperphagia, hyper sexuality and behavioral changes.

So when you ask yourself KBS, memorize KLS and vice versa.

Very interesting but rare syndrome <3

Imagine sleeping 20 hours a day and still waking up tired, nature’s way of saying “just one more nap.”

Exactly! Recurrent Hypersomnia, especially Kleine-Levin Syndrome, is like living in a dream loop—sleeping 15–20 hours daily, yet still feeling exhausted. Episodes come and go unpredictably, lasting days to weeks. Imagine sleeping all day and still needing a nap!

Kleine-Levin Syndrome:
It is a rare condition where mostly teenage boys sleep a lot for days or even weeks. During these episodes, they can eat too much, act weird or overly sexual, and seem confused or moody. Between episodes, they’re totally normal.
Hypersexual, Hyperphagia, increased sleepy tendency is basically what it means.

We don’t really know the cause, and treatment is supportive.
