Job portals

Most people only look for a job on LinkedIn, or #Naukri, and it’s not enough!

What to do?

Well, Try these best alternatives and methods

[1] Google Jobs: I know you hate navigating through hundreds of job portals so the best thing you can do to save the headache and time is to find all the jobs from all company websites, iimjobs, career pages, LinkedIn, and many others in 1 place, and that’s what Google Jobs does for you.

“Just search for your job profile + Jobs” on Google search!

[2] LinkedIn Job POST: I am not talking about LinkedIn Job!

See, LinkedIn Premium for recruiters is expensive, and not everyone can afford it. So, most recruiters post about jobs on their timelines. Now, you can filter the jobs directly by clicking on Content type—Jobs.

“One of the best things you can do”

[3] Fishbowl: Jobs are posted, offer letters (salaries) are posted, open reference requests are posted, and the best part is that people are verified by company emails to make sure they are valid.

“It’s another unprofessional LinkedIn.”

[4] Startup Job Portals: If you’re interested in working for startups, websites like AngelList ( Wellfound) and YourStory Media Jobs feature job listings specifically for startup positions in India, and I know people who got jobs through these portals.

[5] Industry-Specific Job Portals: Most people complain that they don’t see enough jobs for their field, industry, and profile on most job portals. well, then target specialized job portals for your Industry or profile like Construction placements, #Jobsforher, #Careerforfresher, JobStreet, Hospitality Jobs India, and many more.

I usually rely on Google Jobs and LinkedIn posts, but I’ll definitely check out Fishbowl and startup portals too. Each platform has its own advantage depending on the role you’re targeting.

I’m aware only linkedIn , naukri, google jobs thanks for enhancing my knowledge

This post is super helpful for students and freshers like me. Many of us only check LinkedIn or Naukri and miss out on other great options. I didn’t know about Google Jobs and Fishbowl—will definitely try them now. Startup portals and industry-specific sites also sound useful, especially for niche roles. It’s true, job hunting needs smart strategy, not just scrolling. Thanks for sharing these tips in a simple way. It really opens up new paths for job seekers.
