Is your Study chair ergonomic ?

Using an ergonomic chair supports your spine and you feel comfortable to sit for a long periods while studying, writing records or writing content for Medbound :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:
You should adjust the level of the chair such that the reading material is at your eye level. :books:

You should ensure that you are not slouching while reading and that your posture is correct. Reading a book while laying in the bed or sitting in sofa may give you neck pain.

This has helped me a lot and hope it helps you all as well. :star_struck:

Ergonomic chairs aren’t just about comfort—they’re a game-changer for your health, especially if you spend long hours sitting. Here are some of the top benefits:

  1. Improved posture: Ergonomic chairs are designed to support the natural curve of your spine, helping you sit upright without slouching.
  2. Reduced back and neck pain: With adjustable lumbar support and headrests, these chairs alleviate pressure on your lower back and neck, reducing strain and chronic pain.
  3. Better circulation: Features like waterfall seat edges and adjustable height help maintain proper leg positioning, which promotes healthy blood flow and reduces the risk of numbness or swelling.
  4. Less hip pressure: A well-padded seat with proper depth supports your hips and distributes weight evenly, easing pressure on your joints.
  5. Enhanced productivity: When you’re not distracted by discomfort, you can focus better and work more efficiently.
  6. Lower risk of musculoskeletal disorders: By supporting your body’s natural alignment, ergonomic chairs help prevent repetitive strain injuries and long-term joint issues

Yes, it’s really important.

90 - 90 degree posture and screens at eye level should be there.

Even after that, regular mobility intervals should be taken in between.
