Being unable to meet the basic needs that are essential to maintain and sustain a healthy life is the major contirbutor towards ill health outcomes.

It should be a collective effort in the society to uplift the poorer sections by providing clean water, safe shelter and healthy food choices.

Once the basic needs are fulfilled, focus should be given to encourage and improve literacy amongst the masses.

All big and small business enterprises should encourage on site training and employment for the weaker sections of the society.

Poverty can be considered one of the main root causes of poor health. Due to limited income, people sometimes ignore their serious health conditions and avoid seeking proper treatment until the condition worsens. In today’s world, getting proper treatment is expensive, and people living in poverty can’t afford such luxuries. As a result, they tend to rely on government hospitals, where the process is often time-consuming due to the large number of people and long waiting lists. Time is also crucial for them, as they have jobs they can’t afford to lose. Consequently, they often avoid this route for proper treatment as well.

Moreover, poverty further worsens health issues as people can’t afford quality food and other essential items, leading to vitamin and mineral deficiencies.
They also can’t afford to live in environments suitable for their health or manage a balanced diet. So, yes, there’s definitely a connection between poverty and health.

Without basic needs like food, shelter, and healthcare, people can’t stay healthy, and without good health, they can’t work or earn. I believe that creating jobs, improving education, and ensuring access to healthcare are key steps to break this cycle.

There’s definitely a connection between poverty and poor health. Due to their condition, there’s no access to education and that’s why there’s no or limited awareness about health, disease, and drugs available. Besides, the place they stay and the food they eat is not suitable or optimal towards their well-being. They cannot buy healthy vegetables and fruits because of their economic status. Though they might be physically active, their food intake and energy expenditure can’t be correlated. So basically, with less and low quality food, if they over-work, they are inviting diseases or other health concerns. Also, they don’t have access to good healthcare and because of the absence of awareness, most of the times, they neglect the disease till it gets unbearable and at that stage, basic health care facilities available to the poor won’t be of much help to save their lives or for the recovery from the disease.

Yes. The poor health conditions ouccurs deu to insufficiency of adequate food, pure water, good hygiene, etc. When the way of living life will increase in the society then there will be decrement in the poor health. When there is reduced in number of poverty then the poor health will automatically decrease.

When people don’t have enough money, they can’t take care of their health properly. And when they get sick, it’s harder for them to earn money. This keeps them stuck in the same problem
