Is multitasking while studying actually harmful?

As per my research, basically multitasking is performing more than one work ata a same time. for example- you are studying and also you are listening music, using Dm, or writing something these are the more than one tasks at a single point of time.

Yes it is!! Multitasking leads to imfocus as the brain shiftes from one task to another very quickly. Multitasking kills the productivity of the brain also it leads to reduced memory retention, mental fatique, increased mistakes, and confusion.

What we should do?? Study for 25-50 min without break with full focus then take a short break of 5-10 min and then rework this makes brain work faster and quicker and understand the task well.

Multitasking may be good for several things but while studying i think focusing on studying should be the main focus. As multitasking while studying may distract you from the main task.

Multitasking works when you know which task is more important, but for study kind of thing i think it should solely prioritized, but can take breaks to prevent burnouts

Single-tasking boosts focus; multitasking drains clarity and efficiency.
