Integrated medicine

AYURVEDA as the ‘recent medical innovation’ is quite ironical based on it’s deep rooted ancient history but it has become novel topic for people who have accepted modern medicine as “STANDARDISED MEDICINE”. It’s the fault of us as Ayurveda clinician as there’s lack of EVIDENCE BASED MEDICINE (EBM) in field of Ayurveda.

More Evidences in clinical field will provide layman to trust and grow towards Ayurveda.
Classical scriptures of Ayurveda has given one formulated medications for various diseases but to use it in which form of that particular disease is upto Ayurveda practitioners logical thinking.
This makes it more fascinating ex. Formulations used in mental disorders are used in condition named “Grahani” (correlated with IBS) as Ayurveda forms connection of Grahani with MAJJA DHARA KALA (Nervous system) also Modern medicine has proved that IBS is psychosomatic disorder which has ‘psycho-’ part more to it!

Foundation of these statements have been put forth with help of EBM.
What are pros and cons of understanding field of medicine through the eyes of EBM?

Now a days EBM is most important. Even for presenting a research paper you have to state the evidences , so simple .Though Ayurveda is a vast veda, mordenisation is contributing to support the researches made in the field.

Evidence based medicine helps in making people trust your medicine, and researchers can do more research on it. It also helps in keeping records and evidences.
