Patients with this attitude often return to the clinic with complaints unrelated to the quality of your treatment. Therefore, obtaining written and verbal consent before starting treatment is essential.

Treating uncoperative patient is quite challenging.
We need to keep the record with us along with time and date , few patients can be tricky they can lie you about treatment as well as about money. Hence keeping a recoed with us is always safer as we have our proofs with us.
PLUS writing a consent letter and then taking their signature is also necessary in some cases.

It must be the one of the toughest challenge a medical professional can have.
It really need some different sort of skills to deal with such situation.
It is very important for all the professionals to have patience no matter what the circumstances are.
We can have the help of family members for creating familiar environment. Instead of treating the patient first, try make a good connection with the patient and their family members.

Great points! I’d add: Empathy goes a long way ,try to understand their fear, not fight it.
And when possible, involve them in small decisions it gives them a sense of control.
