I agree, we usually chase chaotic relationships, whether with friends or a partner, because that’s what makes us feel like we are actually in it. But the truth is, finding a partner has a foundational basis, which is trusting them i.e trusting the connection you have, understanding them and their needs, as well as putting your needs on the table. If we constantly chase chaos, it drains us mentally, and that is why it’s very important to build a bond where you not only fall in love with them, but with yourself in the process.

It really is difficult. When life gets tough with career and unexpected challenges, it’s best to have friends to around with whom we can share our thoughts and they can also help us deal with some things. I believe maintaining relationships also takes a lot of efforts and it is something worth spending time for.

Beautifully written!
Honestly, I sometimes wonder how I managed to keep up with my schedule during those chaotic days and emotionally overwhelming days. it wasn’t perfect, but somehow I kept going (and still do) and learned along the way.
I truly relate to your point-- Carrer growth does not demand sacrifices, and not everything can be balanced all the time.
also, having a few genuine people around makes a huge difference. I’ve always believed in quality over quantity…
