This is such a real struggle many of us face.

I’ve felt stuck too—sometimes passion feels risky, and bills need to be paid.

For me, balance is key, working a stable job while slowly building my passion. True success is when you can do what you love and also live comfortably.

We all agree passion have our heart but in most of the cases passion Don’t fulfill the needs for everyday home ,so do Focus on profession

The chase for dream and profession we actually kill our passion , Passion is were we feel peace, joy, we feel alive. But profession lead us to survive ..pay the bills, take care of responsibilities.
Its hard to balance both
Maybe we can follow the both while doing our job.

Yes, I felt that many times. Passion gives happiness and peace, but profession gives financial support. I used to feel stuck between both, but now I feel it’s okay to balance them. Let the profession support your passion until one day your passion becomes your career. But to be real — money is important for our needs, responsibilities, and survival. If you’re financially stable, then you can go after passion freely. But until then, profession comes first — because life demands it.

I consciously chose to build a career around what I love to do, as I got this understanding at one point that, when I need to maintain my professional life for most part of this lifetime, why not get indulged in something that I love to do innately without feeling that there’s some serious effort going into that. The start was small, but staying patient and with perseverance things started to build up. Today my profession fuels my passion, and my passion keeps me excited about my work. Now when I look back, I realize that I never had to actually pursue my passion as I strongly shaped my work life in such a way that it should relate to my passion. One life and I have always wanted to move ahead with something that’s sustainable during all periods, seasons, and ages of life.

Passion is not an option, it is essential! Without genuine interest in what we do, we are bound to burn out or give up sooner.

I feel passion and profession can’t be both the same. You may be interested in doing something but if someone is making you do that based on their needs and requirements you may not feel the freedom and passion for that job.

The tension between passion and profession is real. It’s really difficult to find passion in your profession, or profession in your passion.

  1. I think majority can relate to this question, including myself. There was indeed a point in my life where I felt stuck between my passion and my professional career.
  2. I think passion gives you the emotional stability but profession provides you the financial stability, which is indeed a need to survive in this world. So unless, I am stable enough to turn my passion into profession, it would be better to balance both concordantly.
  3. As I said earlier, right now balancing both would be the ideal approach until I can confidently turn my passion into my profession.
