Introduction:
Children’s learning is a huge and complex process. They learn from everyday life. The whole world is an open book for them. A child’s brain can adapt to everything very easily, as it has fast-growing new neuron connections.
The four primary learning styles are:
• Visual (learn through seeing)
• Auditory (learn through hearing)
• Tactile (learn through touching)
• Kinesthetic (learn through doing and moving)
Create a positive environment to grow curiosity in a child, which helps them to play and explore freely. Create a child-friendly space where they can explore their own.
Read to them, encourage them to read, and provide proper resources for that.
Respond to the child’s demand by communicating and guiding them.
Encourage creative tasks like drawing, singing, and dancing.
Take them outside to introduce them to the nature and explore together.
Offer a healthy, fat-rich (fish, nuts, seeds) and protein-rich (egg, meats, beans, lentils) diet with vitamin B (eggs, whole grains) and minerals like zinc (nuts, seeds), iron (millets) for good brain development.
Maintaining a good sleep cycle for a child is essential for brain health.
Common mistakes parents make:
Criticizing the child’s behaviour.
Overcontrolling the child’s actions.
Overprotecting the children.
Offering too much sugar and junk food.
Unlimited screen time.
Conclusion:
We can create a stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity. We can praise and motivate them to participate in such activities.
What is your view on this topic?
Every child learns differently so instead of comparing them, we should focus on understanding what works best for them. A supportive environment, healthy habits and plenty of opportunities to explore can make learning enjoyable and help children build confidence for life.
Very true. It’s amazing how much children absorb just by observing the people around them. Understanding their patterns and redirecting them towards the right path is often challenging. That early guidance from parents, especially at an early age can make a lasting difference.
Parents usually think they know what is best for their child, even though their intentions are good bit sometimes lack of knowledge about the workings of a child’s brain can lead to a negative impact creating more harm than good. Young parents should try and educate themselves, read some books about parenting before planning a baby. It would help create safe environment for the baby and promote betrer bonding between the two.
Yes, I completely agree with this topic. Nowadays, many children are becoming increasingly dependent on screens. If they want to eat calmly, parents give them a mobile phone; if they want to stop them from crying, they give them a mobile phone. I feel that over-pampering and excessive screen exposure have become common. If we can control these habits and give children more opportunities to explore, play, and interact with the real world, they may develop better social skills and understand the world around them more effectively.
Yeah i completely agree with this, parents should focus on children everytime since birth they should look upon small to small things and should focus on every behaviour of their children also they should put limits in everything.
Using this method children will grow with punctuality and will have greater future we should motivate them in their interests
Every child has their own capabilities and learning ability. Rather than focusing only on outcomes, appreciate their effort and allow them to learn at their own pace.
