For some people herbal medicines feel comforting -natural, traditional and connected to home remedies through generations. It responds patience, balancing and silent healing.

For some people allopathic medicines brings up trust and relief especially in emergencies where accurate and scientific treatments can save lives.It represents speed and evidence based treatment and medications.

According to student perspective both are equally important to understand as it’s not about choosing between two,both the methods of treatment plays important role and contributes to healing.

What’s your opinion about herbal medicines and allopathic medicines?

I think only after understanding and weighing pros and cons of both, one should choose the treatment and not by just following blindly.

There are pros and cons to both. No system is complete. That’s the reason why both systems are engaging in continuous research. Both have limitations. Both systems are scientific and have evidences that prove treatments are effective. Considering the benefit of the patient, appropriate treatment should be advised and opted.

Both herbal and allopathic have their own advantages and limitations. The choice really depends on the patient’s condition and proper medical guidance.

Both medicine systems have their own of set of drawbacks and benefits. There is enough research to prove their effective treatement, while also having limitation regarding its therapeutic action. The choice of herbal and allopathic medicine should be based on patient profile and with medical professional’s advice and guidance.

While it is a good thing to follow traditional home remedies that have been used since generations, it is also mandatory to understand the patient condition first.

Something that I want to point is, natural products these days are not as effective as they were years ago due to contamination/pollution and developing diseases in herbal plants.

Allopathy medicines work effectively too but can give side effects. So, before making a decision consulting a trained healthcare professional can make a difference. One cannot lean toward any type of treatment without proper knowledge about the medicine, patient condition and severity of the condition.
