False Memories- When Your Brain Lies to You

Ever been 100% sure something happened only to find out it didn’t?

That’s a false memory. Our brain doesn’t store experiences like a video recorder. It rebuilds memories each time we recall the and sometimes, it gets creative.

Research shows we can be convinced of things we never saw, said, or did especially when emotions or suggestions are involved.

It’s not lying it’s just how memory works.
Fascinating right?

The concept of false memory is a powerful reminder that our brains are not perfect storage devices. Instead, they are storytellers
