Dreams are one of the most gentle mysteries of being human. While our body rests, the mind quietly begins to create its own stories.
Scientifically, most dreams appear during Rapid Eye Movement Sleep, when the brain is surprisingly active. Memory and emotion centers like the Hippocampus and the Amygdala softly process the moments and feelings of our day.
Yet sometimes dreams feel deeper than memory, a place we’ve never seen, a person who feels strangely familiar. Some believe these moments may be quiet echoes of experiences carried by the soul.
Perhaps dreams are simply the mind organizing memories… or perhaps they are gentle whispers from somewhere deeper within us.
Have you ever had a dream that felt strangely real or familiar? ![]()
