Take up a job in your profile as per your requirement and master the course/masters program you are interested in.

Tier 1 and 2 colleges- Go ahead with placements
Tier 3 and so on- Prep for GPAT along with industrial training/job
Other things you can explore- Medical coding, pharmacovigilance
You can also do a certification program to build your skills. But remember, in-hand experience is a must.

Soft skills - For that engage yourself in college extra-curricular activities, Participate in Volunteering work.

Computer skills- Excel, PowerPoint, Chem Draw, Mendeley

Laboratory skills- machine handling is a must [interviewers asks]

Research and scientific writing- Literature review, referencing, abstract writing, and understanding research methodology [to gain that participate in poster presentations, publish your work]

Sales and marketing skills- [In case you want to build your career in this start taking internship to gain more knowledge about these skills]
