I think the value and desperation of the students towards the medical private colleges are very high , which is somewhere good but it increases the fees of private colleges as there are only limited seats, so yeah private colleges does charge more and some students faces some financial crises due of sudden problems in their family occurs

No, it’s not. Whatever the government has fixed as fee is okay. But if a college demands more than that it’s wrong even if it has better infrastructure and facilities. It doesn’t justify the extra fees but they think it is.

The challenges are a student who can’t afford but has tha capability to study medicine are rejected. Education system should not do that. Education has to be for everyone. Even if he gets a education loan the interest rates just suck the life out of students once they finish the course. It takes years to finish. Because medicine is not like some field where we can earn money with few years.

So yeah, these fees structure is not good and it’s tough to finance for the Medical education

Corruption in medicine is shocking. This Montu Patel case is not isolated. Santri to Mantri are involved in it.

Education should not be that expensive. Working to pay our education shouldn’t be the reason to work. Education has become a business these days exploiting students. If your opening up a institution don’t consider it to be a monkey making business. Its fine to demand fees, but not too much.

It is very unfortunate to witness how passion is being outweighed by money.

Private medical fees are truly overwhelming. Many students suffer financially and mentally, struggling to repay loans while earning minimal salaries. Urgent reforms are needed…

The high fees in private medical colleges, along with inadequate infrastructure and no fee regulation, are turning dreams into debt traps. Students struggle to pay for their education and also deal with mental stress. They feel burdened by financial worries instead of concentrating on their studies. When quality is overlooked and affordability is ignored, we risk creating a healthcare system that favors those with money. We need to ask ourselves: is this the future we want for our healers?

  1. Medical education has long been a luxury for most of us - it is in general considered an elite profession where people, even now , feel like there should not be people from oppressed community. There is a political, class, caste system that keeps the profession very expensive for many to pursue.

Private medical college fees are extremely high, causing financial strain on parents and mental stress on students. While it fulfils the dream of becoming a doctor when government seats are limited, the burden of loans and uncertain returns makes many question if it’s worth it. Families must weigh passion against practical affordability before deciding.

Yes, but only if one is passionate about becoming a doctor and haven’t secured a government seat. Securing a seat in good private college may offer good clinical exposure.
Financing medical education in India is a substantial burden, especially for lower or middle-class families because of higher fee structure in private colleges, limited loan support and in the end even after paying such hefty fee one is expected to work with basic pay.

The fees in private medical colleges are definitely too high, and many deserving students lose opportunities due to financial limits. Education should empower, not burden. We need stronger scholarships, more government support, and transparent fee structures to make medical education tr
