Do you know yourself? If so, in what way and how?

For me, self-connection begins with listening—to my thoughts, emotions, and needs without feeling guilty , by being empathetic to my own self . The more we understand ourselves, the easier it becomes to live without pretense.

Completely agree with you. :100:

Loving yourself completely the way you are comes with accepting your shortcomings and trying to improve or work on them. If one truly loves himself/herself, he/she would definitely work to become better than before in all aspects.

Yes!
Self-love helps us connect with our higher selves.

Interesting perspective! Reading this reminded me of the concept of Udal Thegigal in Siddha medicine…Vatha, Pitha, and Kabha constitutions, which, in some studies, have been explored in relation to somatotypes. Yet, Siddha views these constitutions as much more than body shapes; they represent an intricate interplay of physiology, metabolism, temperament, and susceptibility to disease.

Perhaps understanding ourselves goes beyond fitting into categories. Human beings are fascinatingly interconnected, and every system of medicine seems to offer its own lens through which to appreciate that complexity. After all, self-awareness is not merely knowing our body type, but understanding the unique ways in which body, mind, and life influence one another. :herb:

I often believed that Self love gets you to places you often want to reach. Rather than criticising and evaluating one’s life on a daily basis, embracing our true self and the way we are can help attain self love in no form like other.

Self-love is often less about grand gestures and more about practicing that same kindness toward yourself every day.

I believe self reflection has to be a key role.

We can know ourselves well through Journaling. It can be a great way to remind our mind. It also starts with realizing that we have something wonderful to offer this world. Knowing oneself is art . We play variety of roles, and develop identities beyond which we should look. In my opinion we should see ourselves as human being who is constantly evolving

It’s reminder for me that love to ourselves. If you don’t love yourself, and thinking about others all time and comparing our life’s with others, then we are never going to happy
