Courses one can pursue abroad after BAMS

BAMS or Ayurveda is gaining more popularity worldwide, especially after the deadly virus corona. Still, many are in a dilemma whether or not to choose it, as they think the opportunities are limited to India especially when it comes to higher studies. So here I have tried to compile courses that one can pursue abroad after BAMS.

  1. Masters in Public Health (MPH)
  2. MSC in Subjects like psychology, clinical research and pharmacovigilance, mental health etc
  3. MSC in nutrition and dietetics
  4. Medical cosmetology fellowships and diploma
  5. MBA in Healthcare management
  6. Diploma in Medical Transcription
  7. PG Certification in Emergency care

Are you in this field ? Do you know any other courses a BAMS graduate can pursue outside India ?

I am not from this feild ,

But I suggest other than fully getting into non-clinical

You can combine mental health and ayurvedic wellness together

As a BAMS intern, it often feels like you’re standing between tradition and modern expectations. You gain strong clinical exposure and a holistic understanding of health, but there’s also uncertainty about recognition and career scope, especially abroad.
In simple terms:
BAMS gives you a solid base, but your growth depends on how you upskill and choose your path ahead.

Yes absolutely. But clinical practice outside India is still in developing stages. Very few countries accept Ayurveda as the main system of medicine.

Exactly.
