We have to be specific about the branded and generic drugs. The drugs which are having high therapeutic index then we can go for the generic drugs but if the drug having low therapeutic index then we should mostly follow the branded drugs. We can also go for generic drug in case of drug having low therapeutic index but the manufacturer product and manufacturer should be authorised and approved with proper guidelines.
Generic drugs are safe and effective as generic drugs but have lower quality standards when compared with Branded drugs

Generic medicine are the good one . They also provide safety and efficacy of the product. But some people only go with the brand just because the Doctors are written that on their prescription. Some have the mental ability that those only medicine can fix their prblm which is written by the Doctors. Even they donât take the other brand, if the written brand is not available.
Most of the doctors will not suggest about the generic medicines.
So many people really donât about the generic medicine which are getting at lower cost.

Because generic is not equal incase of rare or life threatening illness like cancer and other autoimmune diseases where branded medicines have proven efficacy and safety. Pharmacist and healthcare professionals should guide patients on generic medicines and also ensure that these medicines comes from a gmp certified production lab because from my dispensing experience in both generic and branded medicines, I saw few of the generic medicines is from a non certified gmp lab. So we have to be cautious as we play a vital role in patient health.

As i nowâŚaccording to my expirence generic medicines are not always beneficial for emergency managment ..idk the logic behind..but i have seen during any emergency or of we want to control any vitals 1st choice of treatment is always brand medicineâŚit might be fresh manufactured..bcoz peopleâs,for their sake use to sale expired durgs too..
