It does make us more dependent on AI but chat gpt has proved to be more useful than google often. So, it is on us to create the balance between using our own reasoning and using AI

AI can be our friend and foe at the same time.
Relying too much on AI like chatGPT, perplexity, meta etc. hinders our critical thinking and prevents us to think out of the box.
However it can help as well, using AI to paraphrase our own creative idea can be helpful, of asking ChatGPT for the links of new opportunities can help.
Depending on person to person, it is like a coin with heads being the beneficial side and tails being the risky side.

Everything has 2 sides, but if used properly AI tools can be of great help. You should know where to draw a line from taking AI too seriously.

The more we think actively, the more our brain sharpen
The more we make the brain dependent and less working by relying on external tools like AI, it may lead to cognitive laziness or simply ability to think creatively decreases.
Brain produces new connections with every new learning and thinking. It adapts itself in that - a phenomenon called as Neuroplasticity.
So yes, i truly believe to this statement.
Use of AI can be justified and will be helpful if we want to make our own creative ideas into more creativity.

Not in real but it makes our work easy because as a student i know that many resources are not available for me to learn and even every one dont have time to explain my doubts but this come easy with gpt it makes you think big and makes it easier to persue
