Hi everyone!
Just curious to know- how often are you all using ChatGPT in your professional lives? Is it for job searching, writing cover letters, preparing presentations, research assistance, or even something as simple as finding a topic to post here on MedBound?
Also, do you feel you are really making 100% use of ChatGPT’s potential, or is it just scratching the surface?
Using AI has become a necessity today, but we must remember—it isn’t infallible. AI can make mistakes, which is why it should be seen as a supplement to your skills, not a replacement for them.
I mostly use ChatGPT for job prep stuff—like writing cover letters, practicing interview questions, and even making notes for pharma topics. Sometimes I also use it when I get stuck on how to explain something in a simple way. But honestly, I think I’m only using 30–40% of what it can actually do. It feels like there’s still a big unexplored side—like advanced research, coding, or creative projects. For now, I just treat it as a study buddy and career helper.
Yes, I use ChatGPT for almost everything you’ve mentioned here. However, I don’t rely on it completely. I use it more as a tool to refine and optimize my own ideas and thoughts so that I can convey them more effectively.
I also find it really helpful when I’m confused about something and need clarity. What I appreciate is that it frames responses in a way that aligns with my interests and priorities, making decision making easier.
And with the right prompts, I believe we can truly unlock its full potential beyond just the basics.
Time management is often a headache. But imagine having a personal assistant who never forgets anything. With ChatGPT, you can set up your daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, ensuring you make time for both work and play. Need a reminder about a meeting or a deadline? ChatGPT has got you covered.
I used to use it quite frequently for all the topics you mentioned and it quite litreally affected my thinking skillls indirectly. Using it for certain last minute objective is usefull honestly, otherwise you will be affected indirectly. I faced major brain fogs, lack in decision making skills on my own and a dip in creativity. So use AI whe needed not on a daily basis.
I mostly use chatgpt as a guide to give me guidance on something I have already written into a better piece by giving me suggestions on how I can do better.
While I find it very useful, I believe I’m still just scratching the surface of ChatGPT’s full potential. There are so many advanced features and creative ways to utilize it that I’m eager to explore more.
This is such a relatable question, especially for students and freshers like me. I mostly use ChatGPT for finding unique post ideas and sometimes for research help. It really saves time and gives clarity when I feel stuck.
I agree that I do incorporate ChatGPT in my routine, but I don’t fully depend on it. For me, it’s more of a support tool to speed up tasks or get a fresh perspective, while the final thoughts, creativity, and decision-making always come from me. I feel we can take ChatGPT as a suggestion or support system, but ultimately the power to decide, create, and execute should stay with us. It’s a tool to guide, not something to fully rely on.
yes, ChatGPT has become a king of part and parcel of today’s generation as we mostly search maximum about of stuff through ChatGPT whether its a notes or a meaning of something or even its gives pronunciation to any unknown word. before ChatGPT i think we used to search everything on google platform.
yes, I think we only use ChatGPT at surface level.
