I’ve heard from a lot of people that applying kapoor (camphor) on the gums where it is paining helps to relieve the tooth pain
Is there any medical logic for the same?

Not heard of camphor truly, as it is much toxic for internal use. But I’ve heard about cloves and clove oil being used as they provide a numbing effect.
Camphor may provide a temporary numbing effect, but it doesn’t treat the underlying cause of tooth pain. Professional dental evaluation is still needed for proper management.
This is really interesting! While camphor does have mild anti-inflammatory and cooling properties, using it directly on gums isn’t a scientifically proven way to treat tooth pain.
It’s a good example of how traditional remedies sometimes provide temporary relief, but understanding the underlying cause and consulting a dentist ensures safe and effective care
Haven’t heard of it before.Really interesting!
