It depends upon the interest and without sounding sexist, Peds, OBGYN, PMR are good for females. I do not see many women docs in Ortho where one has to play with sickle and hammer :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes::grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Well, if I act like a stereotypical educated person I’ll say,
Radiology and dermatology for Gold standard.
OBGY and Pediatrics for women
Ortho surgery and Cardiology for men.
But in my opinion all these fields are not gender biased, I’ve seen the best OBGY male surgeons and best Female cardiologists.

No department is gender-specific—choose based on interest, aptitude, and work-life balance.
Popular choices include Dermatology, Radiology, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry. Passion and long-term satisfaction matter more than stereotypes or trends.

The best department to choose varies based on individual interests, regardless of gender. I’ve seen many successful people after they pursued their chosen postgraduate fields.
Definitely, guidance helps in deciding the department.

Interest is the main point of difference that determines the speciality

The “best” department truly depends on your passion and strengths, not gender. Every specialty offers unique rewards.
The right fit is where you feel most engaged and can make the greatest impact, for anyone.
