"AURA 9999"... featuring Migraine with aura. What are the variants?

When it comes to migraine, we only think about the unilateral headache, nausea, and vomiting; that’s how we describe “typical” migraine picture.
However, there are different areas of the CNS affected with leading to different migraines.

Migraine with Aura
A typical warning sign called an aura is seen before the actual attack of migraine, this sign can be a visual disturbance, sensory change, or difficulty in speaking.

  • ** Migraine with Brainstem aura:**
    This rare type of aura includes at least two of the following -->vertigo, double vision, poor muscle coordination, slurred speech, ringing in the ears, hearing loss, or fainting.
  • Hemiplegic migraine:
    A rare and severe form that causes temporary paralysis on one side of the body.
  • Retinal migraine:
    Affects one eye and causes temporary vision loss or changes in eyesight.
  • Silent migraine (Acephalgic migraine):
    Migraine aura symptoms occur without a headache.

This reminds me of my aunt, who has a severe migrane issue since her marriage. She is prescribed with Sumitriptan but it’s all symptomatic relief.
