As students, we sometimes hesitate to ask questions.
We may think: “What if this is a very basic question?”
“What will others think of me?”
But in healthcare, no question is too small when it helps us understand something better.
Asking questions can help us:
1.Understand concepts more clearly
2.Develop critical thinking
3.Learn from experienced professionals
4.Challenge our assumptions
5.Improve our knowledge and ultimately contribute to better patient care
Sometimes, one simple question can lead to a meaningful discussion and help many others learn something new.We should not wait until we have the perfect question to speak up. Learning begins when we become curious enough to ask.
What i feel is asking questions is not a sign of a lack of knowledge. It is a sign that we are willing to learn.
What is one question you asked recently that helped you understand something better?
