Not everyone likes to wake up early as most of the people nowadays are ‘night owls’. But there may be times where we are left with no choice because of studies, job or even for exercising. How do we tackle that situation?
There are small changes that we can make, which can help with shifting our circadian clock:
Sleep Alarm: Instead of the wake up alarm, we can set a sleep alarm which can help in establishing a night routine.
Fix a Time: Try waking up at the same time everyday, it helps our body clock to set its own routine.
3-2-1 Rule: Stop eating 3 hours before bed, stop working 2 hours before bed, keep away screens 1 hour before bed.
Leave room for Light: Sunlight stops the production of melatonin, helping in waking up with ease.
Meditate before Bed: Meditation helps in clearing out mental trash, when you go you sleep with a clear mind, it helps you sleep better.
