Plant based milks are indeed good alternatives for cow’s milk, especially in people with lactose intolerance. That being said, cow milk is richer in nutrients like protein, calcium, vit B12. So if a person isn’t facing major digestion issues with cow/buffalo milk, they can continue consuming it. No harm either ways

With rising concerns over dairy intolerance, it’s great to see plant-based milks stepping in. Among them, soy milk stands out as the closest match nutritionally to cow’s milk, smart swap for health and ethics!

Those who are vegans or have lactose intolerance or allergic to milk protein: go for non dairy milk like mentioned above.
Personally, I prefer Oat milk over Soy milk or almond milk. Almond milk has a bitter taste, I believe, stemming from its skin, even if peeled off. Coconut milk is just too creamy.
Soy milk can however be life saver and therapeutic. In newborns diagnosed with Galactosemia, soy milk is the milk of choice. Note that soy milk should not be routinely used in newborn babies.

That was informative!
