Yes, Many of the people thing pharmacy is just about dispensing medicine no its wrong it is more than that. Both doctors and pharmacist should deserve equal respect. In India people are unaware about this field but in foreign country it is given more preference.

If a non medical professional said that may be it’s okay. I don’t know why a doctor said that don’t he/ she have even that kind of knowledge. We people discussed about kindness and doctor, is kindness only available to patient ? Not for a co worker?

Pharmacy Students are more valued in pharmaceutical industry. You should try. As our country is developing and pharma sector is growing you can try for this sector.

Pharmacist not only dispense the medicines but also they try to interact with the patients to know about their problem. Pharmacist play a vital role in patients care. Doctors only prescribe the medicine but the pharmacist check the medicines again by asking the patient what exactly problem he/she is facing.

Yes it’s the bitter harsh truth which i can agree by pursuing my bachelor’s in pharmacy degree. The society things the role pharma graduates do is either dispensing the medications in pharmacy or by providing licencee legally to others but they have their own identity who also works in R and D, clinicals, teaching,IT

Yes i agree, most of the salaries are really low in india , that most of the efforts brought by pharmacist were unrecognised

Yes, with my personal experience I understand well that pharma graduates are given less importance in some fields.

Yes , many times .. Its because people only know that we can only dispense medicine keep a drug store , we are also a silent health care worker making sure every tablet , every dose ,every prescription is safe and effective ..
Me as a pharm.D garduate i feel we don’t have the both respect and job :smiling_face_with_tear:

Yes, pharmacy graduates are often undervalued because their work is mostly behind the scenes and not directly patient-facing, even though they play a crucial role in healthcare.

well said.

In our society the pharmacy degree only means the pharmacist who can only do dispensing of medicine. They don’t want to know what are other duties pharmacist play along with dispensing of medicine. Si it is very true that pharmacists are undervalued.
