Aam - The root cause of maximum diseases .

Aam is nothing but the undigested food . If AGNI ( digestive power ) is weak , food is not processed properly which leads to production of AAM.

The properly digested food nourishes the 7 DHATUS of our body . If aam is produced it affects the production of 7 dhatus and hence fails to nourish the body .
Aam cannot be diagnosed by any tool it can be understood clinically , the patient presents the symptoms like heaviness , disturbed appetite , and generally complains of something is not ok with him , this feeling is because of aam .

Aam dose not remain stagnant , it travels through our body and blocks the srotas ( channels ) , which in turn can lead to many other symptoms and diseases .
Some common symptoms which denotes aam

  1. Heaviness
  2. Loss of appetite
  3. Coated tongue
  4. Lethargy and fatigue
  5. Indigestion and bloating
  6. Body aches without a clear cause .

If these symptoms are ignored this aam can lead to many major diseases as aam denotes the weak digestive power .

The most widespread disease AAMVATA ( Rheumatoid Arthritis ) is caused beacuse of aam as the name suggests. In this condition aam which is produced travels to the small joints becomes stagnant and causes severe pain with morning stiffness in patients .

Causes of aam

  1. Stress - most important cause
  2. Excessive intake of processed and junk food
  3. Adhyashan - having meals even if anyone just had a meal .
  4. Poor sleep cycle

Basic steps anyone can follow to avoid the production of aam are discussed below :-

  1. Avoid the causes explained above .
  2. Have light meals if not feeling hungry .
  3. Intake of luke warm water - improves digestion and at the same time reduces bloating
  4. Maintain your sleep cycle .

In clinical practice almost 90 to 95 percent patients present the symptoms of the aam .
Treating the root cause is always the priority than treating the symptoms . That’s why aam is the most important factor in treating the diseases .
