A Cup a Day Keeps AFib Away?

New research suggests that a daily cup of caffeinated coffee may reduce the likelihood of recurrent atrial fibrillation (AFib) in people already living with the condition. The study challenges long-standing beliefs that caffeine worsens heart rhythm issues, showing instead that moderate coffee intake may offer protective effects. Researchers believe caffeine’s influence on blood pressure, inflammation, and physical activity may play a role.

:light_bulb: For many patients with AFib, moderate coffee consumption may be safer and possibly more beneficial than previously thought.

An interesting update! However, amount to be taken of caffeinated coffee should not exceed the normal/ moderate levels. Other factors should also be checked and kept in balanced state such as blood pressure, diabetes, alcohol intake, etc.
