You have voiced what millions of women all over the world wish to communicate. A one-day menstrual leave isn’t just a day off; it is a time to adjust to biological changes.

I am completely agree with this. A one day menstrual leave would support women health. It would empower women to prioritize their health without guilt. It is very good policy which would really support students and working women to feel better and work well.

I don’t completely agree with this post. It’s completely fine to give one day of menstrual leave for women who seriously need it. Not all, but some women might misuse the leave for their time. there is an essential balance between sympathy and working.

I completely agree @poonam1. Menstrual leave can make a big difference for many especially on those tough first days when pain and discomfort are at their worst. Giving that one day to rest isn’t about avoiding work, it’s about taking care of our health so we can perform better afterward.
It’s a small step that can improve overall well-being and productivity. Definitely worth considering in colleges and workplaces!

One day of menstrual leave should be implemented. While some consider it overrated, it can significantly help those who experience pain/ cramps.

Yes, definitely it should be implemented. This is mostly not understood because people do not have a high awareness related and even if some people have it, they feel that its unnecessary to think about it because many women are still continuing their days at work while menstruating. Therefore, there’s a feeling that when many are continuing, then what’s the need. The voice related to the issue has to be loud on different platforms, should be joined not only by women, but men too who understand this issue well and only then this will be addressed with the correct policy implementation. The body of every woman is different; some might not get any pain at all, some may get severe pain, and some may get different other symptoms. Besides, the severity and umcomfortable feeling gets varied based upon the age and other situational factors. But, whatever the situation is, a day of rest is never harmful for the woman during this time, because a hand of support and understanding goes a long way motivating the woman to have a focus and dedication on her work along with several other mental, emotional and physical-labour filled responsibilties that she shoulders/bears almost all her life.

Maybe the first 2 days. Few of us end up in hospital due to the pain and would definitely be helpful in the long run.

This is very important for women.
