I do this everyday. Walking barefoot results in the activation of several important muscles, tendons, and ligaments that are present in both foot. If we constantly wear shoes, the movement of all these get highly restricted, so walking barefoot allows all these to move freely and the blood gets circulated well increasing our balance and flexibility during body movement. Also, at the time of stress/anxiety, when we walk barefoot, the direct contact of skin with the earth helps us calm down soon as the process helps in lowering CRP (C- reactive protein). Research also suggests walking barefoot more on uneven surfaces, as that can aid in lowering BP and it also improves our physical vitality.

Yes i walk regularly barefoot by walking barefoot for at least 10 minutes a day allows us to connect with the ground directly, which helps improve balance and posture. It activates muscles and nerves in our feet that are often unused when wearing shoes, promoting better foot strength and circulation. This practice also encourages mindfulness and can reduce stress by grounding us to the present moment. Overall, walking barefoot daily supports healthier feet and a stronger body.

I feel this is a very simple and healthy habit. Walking barefoot on grass or sand sounds peaceful and relaxing. It can help reduce stress and make our mind fresh. Also good for feet strength and blood flow. I think giving 10 minutes daily is easy and useful for both body and mind.

Yes, very true! Walking barefoot really helps our body in many ways it improves immunity, boosts blood circulation, strengthens our feet, and even helps reduce stress. But sadly, today’s generation feels shy or embarrassed to walk without slippers, as if it’s something wrong or outdated. If we just take a moment and observe our parents and grandparents they used to walk barefoot on mud, grass, and even stones, and they hardly faced the lifestyle diseases we struggle with now. Their connection with nature kept them grounded, both physically and mentally.

We often run behind modern solutions for health, forgetting that sometimes the simplest habits like walking barefoot for just 10 minutes a day can do wonders. It’s time we stop caring about how it looks and start focusing on how it feels and heals.
