For the longest time, I thought healing meant becoming perfect.
No flaws. No breakdowns. No bad days.
But healing isn’t a straight line — it’s messy, slow, and deeply personal.
Some days you’ll feel strong.
Other days, you’ll feel like you’re starting over.
And both are okay.
You’re allowed to be a work in progress.
You’re allowed to feel lost and still be growing.
You’re allowed to take up space, even when you’re not at your best.
Because your worth isn’t tied to how productive, happy, or “put together” you are.
It’s in your honesty.
Your resilience.
Your quiet courage to keep going.
So if today feels heavy, just remember:
You’re not broken. You’re becoming.
And that’s a beautiful thing.
Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing better than you think.
Yes its true.
Very true. “Healing” is such a personal journey and it is totally different for everyone based upon their own personality. It cannot be a goal where we reach, but it’s about building a deep relationship with the self, which we often miss in today’s busy world. Healing just demands full presence and it never wants one to do everything perfectly by weighing all the up and down and the ebb and flow. Wounds never disappear completely from our lives and our objective shouldn’t lie in working towards their disappearance, but our focus should be on how to accept them and now live with more compassion and strength. Sometimes, it all comes down to that acceptance that we took so long to reach. This acceptance is the representation of that silent inner potency we all have and it just needs to be tapped.
Healing means getting better not perfection. Even thougj we are healed there will be flaws in ourselves, its okay , we have to adress our flaws too.
This is so beautifully said. Healing isn’t about being perfect it’s about showing up for yourself, even on the hard days. We all need this reminder sometimes. Thank you for putting it into words.
Yes, so true; healing isn’t perfect, but it’s still progress. Every small step counts.
Yes, you are right! Sometimes, it is not about fixing everything, it is about learning to be with yourself. Being your own best friend. Reminding yourself that “It is okay to not be perfect.” Just keep showing up, keep going. And when it gets too heavy, I tell myself “Do not be so hard on yourself.”
You don’t need to be perfect or “fixed” to be worthy. Being real, authentic, and true to yourself is what truly matters.
Absolutely true, we should be true ourselves and should not waste are energy in proving rather improving ourselves.
Exactly! Embracing who we really are is where true worth comes from.
Absolutely correct just keep doing your work without listening others opinion towards you and don’t give attention to them as well
Healing is not about to be perfect it is about getting better each day . It’s about being honest with your work each day
