Which one is tougher: USMLE or NEET PG?

NEET PG is for admisison to MD/MS in India. And USMLE for getting MD/MS in the USA? Which one is tougher?

In my opinion:
NEET PG is tougher in terms of competition and seat availability.
USMLE is tougher in terms of depth, duration, and system navigation, especially for international students.

USMLE is filled with uncertainty on many fronts: getting visa, getting good clinical rotations in the US or not, getting adequate interviews (when applying for residency), then uncertainty of matching or not.

Great Question :+1:t3::red_question_mark:
Both exams are tough in their own ways—USMLE tests clinical reasoning and is spread over multiple steps, while NEET PG is a highly competitive, time-bound single exam. It really depends on your strengths and where you plan to practice.

Both exams are challenging, but in very different ways. NEET PG feels more like a race—so many candidates for limited seats. USMLE, on the other hand, is a marathon that demands long-term planning, deeper conceptual clarity, and adapting to a new system altogether. It really depends on what kind of challenge you’re more prepared for.

Both of them are tough because they require hell lot of dedication… Usmle is way more difficult in terms of the duration it takes for one to get into residency while neet pg is difficult because of the competition for limited govt college seats.

:sparkles:Neet PG is tough in terms of in-depth theoretical knowledge and rankings

:sparkles:USMLE is tough in terms of its length and clinical situation and cost
