I think NExtT will be tougher than NEET PG.
As NExT is combination of FMGE and NEET PG.
The students enrollment will be also high hence the competition rate will be increased.

It will be tougher as it will combine NeetPG and FMGE together and concept is similar to USMLE patterns.
a bit scary though

With NExT replacing NEET PG, I feel the exam will be tougher, especially with its focus on clinical application. The question format seems more practical and scenario-based, which challenges my understanding beyond memorization. I’m preparing by practicing real-life cases to build confidence and improve my problem-solving skills for this new test.

NExt may feel tougher than NEET PG due to its emphasis on clinical reasoning over rote learning in terns of question format.
It is likely to be more relevant to real life practice for better clinical application
Thus transitioning batches may find NExT tougher until a clear pattern emerges

Honestly, I get why so many of us feel nervous about NExT—it’s a big shift from what we’ve been preparing for. Compared to NEET PG, NExT does seem tougher at first glance because it leans more on clinical thinking than just facts. But if you’ve been paying attention in postings, understanding cases, and not just mugging up textbooks, you might actually find it more practical. It feels a bit scary now, but in the long run, it might make us better doctors—not just better exam-takers.
