- Is the 3rd year (5th semester) the ideal time to begin focused GPAT preparation?
- Should I start light preparation in the 2nd year to build a basic foundation?
You don’t have to prepare separately. Your course and GPAT syllabus are the same. Focus on your basics, revise daily, and take tests regularly. Study on a daily basis, revise, and don’t waste your time. Start from now itself.
Syllabus of gpat is almost same of b.pharm syllabus start preparation in last year 5th semester
While researching, got to know that the syllabus of GPAT and the B. Pharma is almost the same.
So you can start it by just focusing on your main studies and gain the depth and detailed knowledge of it. Along with that, try to solve some PYQs to get the regular feedbacks.
Thankyou
GPAT is such exam which requires thorough knowledge about the entire pharmacy syllabus and it requires intense focus commitment and sheer will(Those who have seen John Wick:joy:)
Further I would like to add that starting preparation for GPAT at the earliest of semester like 2nd and 3rd semester is also helpful as the basics of 12th standard science is cleared in the first half and later semester subjects after 3rd semester are easy to understand like Pharmacology,QA and Pharmaceutical Chemistry etc.
Classes are also important as they provide important study materials and insightful information about the marks on each subject and important notes regarding GPAT.If you do not join any classes priorities self study as it is the same subject based preparation in every semester.
Despite the similarity in courses, I’d suggest starting preparation as early as possible. Match the syllabus of your current semister with that of GPAT, align them and start practising MCQs. Because your final year can get overwhelming with thesis work, training and placements. Therefore, it’s better to be prepared beforehand.
I think you can brush up on the basics and start preparing for GPAT in the final year.
Starting preparation in the final year was the right time to do
Start early and stay consistent. Build your basics from 2nd year itself — it really helps in the long run.
Getting well-versed with basic concepts and practicing mock tests regularly will boost the candidates’ confidence as well as pinpoint the areas that need more focus. Since the syllabus of GPAT and the subjects taught in B.Pharm are the same, putting a good amount of time and concentration on their regular syllabus is more than enough.
Starting your preparation in 3rd year is best time .
Starting early will help in building strong concepts and will help you learn about the insights of exam in depth .
The syllabus is almost the same for GPAT as compared to B pharm but you should start your preparation from the 2nd year itself because of the study load you are going to get once you are in the last year of B pharm.
Honestly I still don’t know , because I tried my best to juggle around both either you only focus on gpat exam while being a college but sometimes it gets really hard because every two months you have to give exams , so I was like should I prioritise my academics right now or gpat preparation
How are you going to start your prepartion? like what i have thought of to purchase a book and solve daily mcqs and learn topics based on mcqs. what else strategy can i follow?
