I was scared into the ‘No pickles when you’re menstruating!’ myth.
It’s known to cause gastric irritation probably worsening the cramping impact.
Nothing to do with myths.

Antibiotics work for viral infections.

Antibiotics only work against bacterial infections, not viruses like the common cold, flu.

“Drinking water while standing is harmful”, considered as a myth. However, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim that drinking water while standing is harmful.

I believed that drinking water during running can lead to heart attack but scientifically we need to drink water during running which can hydrate your body .

I seriously believed that if you swallowed seeds, a plant would grow inside your stomach! I used to avoid eating guava or watermelon seeds just because of that. Later I realised our stomach has acid, not soil!

You need to drink 8 glasses of water every day. Actually hydration needs vary by person, activity, and climate.

I believed during menstruation one should not give water to your plant or your shadow should not fall on plants as plant can die but few years when I grew up I understood that these were myths.
