Black line - A persistent stain from iron in saliva, oral solutions and supplements; industrial exposure to iron, manganese and silver
Brown stains - Tobacco tar, food and beverage pigment and tannins (eg: tea, wine); insufficient brushing
Yellowish-brown stains - Stannous fluoride and chlorhexidine in mouth rinses
Orange stains - Chromogenic bacteria from poor oral hygiene
Blue-green stains - Exposure to mercury and lead
Red-black stains - Chewing betel leaves and nuts, and lime (paan)

Not to forget:
Tetracycline can cause yellow staining of teeth, thus, never given to children less than eight years of age. However, Rocky Mountain spotted fever (RMSF) - named after Rocky Mountains in Colorado- is the only indication of giving Tetracycline in all age groups.
Rifampin can cause orange discoloration of teeth.

Yes. Your natural hue of teeth is between white-yellow.
Dental fluorosis - white / brown spots or streaks on enamel surface.
In severe cases, it causes chipping of enamel making teeth weaker.

how do we get rid of external stains naturally?
There’s no natural solution to it. Firstly you need to get professional scaling treatment done and then find the external source that’s causing it and try to omit it.
