This fungus is actually beneficial for humans. Different variations of this fungus are used as traditional medicine in China to boost immunity, energy, and kidney function.

Ah, the infamous Cordyceps and their unique way of taking over their hosts. The name “ Zombie Fungus “ truly does reflect its characteristics but they also have great medicinal properties and can be taken as supplements.
