What career advice do you wish someone gave you earlier?

Always help yourself out in every situation. Don’t depend on someone. You are your own saviour and you will always be.

Its all over now we only wish some other person how to build their carrier. But carrier guidance is more important in every stage of life untill person got settled

I wish someone told me to not follow others blindly.
I joined some things just because others did, not knowing if I liked it.
Later I learned it’s okay to leave what doesn’t feel right.

Don’t be shy about showcasing your work. You can be the highest achieving person in your team, but unless you’re showing it, people .

Something I should workup on. Thanks

The greatest piece of career advice I have heard, is that what is meant for you will come your way as long as you complete evrything assigned to you, to the best of your abilities. And also understand that you cannot seek to take everyone with you on your journey, when people show resistance and seem to hinder your path, let them go.

I wish someone had told me earlier that the biotech field isn’t just about research or academia. There is a whole, rapidly expanding other side of the business, product development, and real-life applications that seems to be neglected. Among the field leading to influential careers that connect science with innovation and entrepreneurship is exploring the industry aspect of biotech. I also realized that saying no is a way of making your career so whether it was like saying no to directions that were not directed in your line of interest or even to people that applied pressure of various degrees. You can play around, change direction and even discover where your real home is in this growing industry.

Exactly i agree with it
