It’s a big problem spending excessive time in video games can lead poor lifestyle , anxiety, depression . There should be time limit for Playing game . Focus in outdoors game, hobbies other activities .

I didnt know something like this contributed to bruxism other than stress! Thanks for sharing!

Video game addiction in teens can increase stress and disrupt sleep, leading to teeth grinding (bruxism). Intense gaming overstimulates the brain, raising anxiety levels— a common trigger for grinding during sleep.

By playing the video games continuously for hours will also cause effect to us like headache, dizziness. Currently many teenagers are suffering with this i agree with you.

While gaming can be a fun escape and a source of connection, excessive use especially when it turns into addiction may silently affect more than just mental well being. This study sheds light on a lesser known consequence: your teeth may be grinding under the pressure.

I also play video games to relax and never thought it could cause teeth grinding. It’s surprising how gaming can affect our health in ways we don’t expect. I’ll try to be more careful now.

Never thought gaming could take a toll on oral health too. Just another reason to game in moderation.

After reading this post, i wish everyone of us and everyone could really stop giving there mobiles to childern

Never knew game addiction could cause bruxism! Anyway, this news makes us think about limiting mobile use for kids. Other than that, we can play indoor and outdoor games. Nowadays, children are all using mobiles, but during my childhood, no one provided mobiles. Anyone had only button mobiles, I think you remember. But anyways, we were happy with that. Nowadays, children are suffering from more screen time; it’s time to quit mobiles, mainly for children.

Video game addiction is more harmful than it seems—it not only affects mental health but can also lead to physical issues like teeth grinding. Teens may not realize that excessive gaming can impact their sleep, stress levels, and even oral health, making it important to maintain balance and set healthy limits.
